In order to be able to fulfil our tasks, we depend also on the financial support of the pharmaceutical companies. In contrast to the past, the pharmaceutical companies often want a report in return. Certain reports are more extensive. In them, we describe our results on the effect of the new therapies. These reports also serve the responsible authorities of the Swiss health system, for example the Federal Office of Public Health and the Federal Social Insurance Office.
The study information now mentions that we write independent reports for patient organisations, responsible bodies of the Swiss health system and the pharmaceutical industry.
